I believe that weight loss can release uric acid which has been stored in fat cells into the system, thus bringing on a gout attack in someone who is prone to it. My own gout certainly flared up the last time I lost a few pounds.

I have also heard about an actress ..i am sorry as i do not remember her name but still she lost weight for oscar’s to be held recently.. She opted for some natural weight loss herbals for loosing weight..

Sorry about the inaccurate wording

Rapid weight loss can lead to many health problems suchs as gallstones or gout. I think he had to lose the extra Chapter 27 weight for his next role (perhaps Nemo Nobody?).

Jared Leto gained about 70 lbs. for the movie Chapter 27. He developed gout after rapidly losing that weight after the movie wrapped.
